About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant for a six-month full-time contract. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running. The position is fully onsite, requiring 37.5 hours of work each week. In this role, you will have full ownership of month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations. You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as sales and segmental reporting. Additionally, you will support board and business review packs with data updates and variance analysis. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing fixed asset accounting, tax returns (GST, FBT), and ensuring regulatory compliance. We also value process improvement and internal control enhancement, so your contributions in these areas will be highly regarded. Furthermore, you will play a key role in user acceptance testing for our Business Central ERP system. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have over five years of experience in financial accounting. A degree in Accounting is essential, and you will likely be a member of CA. Strong Excel skills and proven experience with Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) are also required.
