About the Role
In this fixed-term opportunity, you will play a crucial role in our team, where your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting external reporting projects, accompanied by detailed financial analysis and reconciliations.
- Preparing and reviewing complex regulatory and financial reports to ensure compliance with IFRS, Group policies, and legal requirements.
- Challenging and improving team processes to promote continuous enhancement.
- Building cross-functional relationships to identify and implement practical solutions.
- Ensuring high-quality analysis, thorough documentation, and timely responses to reviews and audit inquiries.
- Contributing to a motivated team that delivers accurate and timely financial, regulatory, and Group reporting.
- Analyzing upcoming regulatory and accounting changes to guide informed business decisions.
- Advocating for process improvements through simplification and standardization.
- Assisting in the preparation of subsidiary financial statements while coordinating across teams to meet established standards and deadlines.
- Advising stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
On Offer
We offer a competitive salary in the range of $150K to $160K, depending on experience. This role presents an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly effective team and work on critical regulatory projects. About You
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A Chartered Accountant qualification.
- Proven accounting experience and project management skills within large organizations.
- Financial services experience is preferred.
- Strong skills in statutory and regulatory reporting, along with financial analysis.
- Excellent abilities in data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- A solid understanding of IFRS is essential.
- A proactive and independent work ethic, especially in busy environments.
