About the Role
We are excited to announce an opening for a Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with 30 hours per week, and requires an immediate start with a projected end date in June 2026. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role within a high-impact program, leveraging your expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and process improvement. We are looking for a professional who is comfortable working independently in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling.
- Refining our monthly financial processes and establishing clear ownership and responsibilities.
- Reconciling accounts to ensure accurate transaction reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with our financial policies and supporting audit readiness.
- Maintaining and enhancing the program's financial model.
- Preparing financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborating with program and business teams to support financial planning.
- Performing budgeting, variance analysis, and risk assessments.
- Leveraging tools and systems for data extraction and insight generation.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CFA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proven ability to work with large datasets and complex financial structures.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational ability.
