About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Finance and Operations Manager and take charge of the full financial function across multiple entities. You will play a key role in monthly reporting, audit preparation, forecasting, and team supervision, while also contributing to strategic decision-making in our commercial environment. Although you will not have direct reports, your technical expertise will be invaluable in mentoring junior staff and enhancing the capabilities of the team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journal entries
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations
- Manage audit preparation, compliance, and external relationships
- Provide financial insights to support forecasting and budgeting
- Oversee GST returns, asset registers, and year-end accounts
Requirements
- CA qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience within a commercial organization
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is preferred but not mandatory
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in mentoring team members
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset for process improvement
- Familiarity with financial reporting software and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
