About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time carpenters to join our team and support a variety of project work throughout New Zealand. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on commercial, residential, and infrastructure construction sites. The location of your work will depend on project demand, making this an ideal position for experienced carpenters who are open to relocating or traveling as required.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Performing formwork, framing, cladding, and finishing work
- Constructing, installing, and repairing various structures
- Maintaining health and safety standards on site
- Working on rotating project sites across the country
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of three years of carpentry experience, either in New Zealand or overseas
- A trade qualification, such as the New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry Level 4, is preferred
- The ability to work independently and adapt to new environments
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety standards
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Auckland, we are actively recruiting for positions across all regions of New Zealand based on project requirements. These regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We welcome applicants from any of these regions, and you must be willing to travel or relocate within the country as needed. The company will cover relocation costs on a case-by-case basis.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. These are full-time, permanent roles, and we provide personal protective equipment and tools where required.
