About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to lead our dynamic kitchen team in Hamilton. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about food and has a strong desire to foster a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure that food is prepared according to our company standards. You will lead and support the kitchen team, maintaining high performance and morale. Additionally, you will ensure that hygiene, food safety, and health and safety standards are consistently met. You will assist with stock control, perform inventory checks, and manage the ordering of supplies. Training new kitchen staff and managing staff rosters will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with front-of-house staff to guarantee excellent customer service is essential. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have at least one year of experience in a supervisory position within a kitchen setting, as well as the ability to work at least 30 hours per week. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a thorough knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices. You must also be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
