    About the Company HealthCare NZ is a prominent provider of in-home and community-based health services, including rehabilitation, nursing, mental health, and disability support. About the Role We are seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. If you are looking for flexible work arrangements to accommodate other commitments, or if you prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent options available. In your role as a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, assisting our clients in achieving greater independence within their homes and communities. You will provide both practical and emotional support, helping our clients to reach their goals and realize their potential. Your responsibilities will vary based on individual care plans and may include: - Meal preparation - Community outings and integration - Administration of medication - Personal care (such as showering and toileting) - Home management tasks (including housework) Requirements We are looking for individuals who have a strong desire to help and support others, demonstrating excellence in all that they do. While previous healthcare or caregiving experience is preferred, it is not essential. Key requirements include: - Excellent communication skills - Healthcare qualifications are advantageous - A full New Zealand driver’s license and reliable transport for most positions Benefits At HealthCare NZ, we are committed to investing in our employees. Compensation for this role ranges from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
