Royal District Nursing Services (RDNS NZ) is a reputable not-for-profit organization that provides home and community services across New Zealand. We are committed to delivering compassionate care and support to our clients, and we are currently seeking dedicated caregivers to join our team.
About the Role
As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include providing personal care, household cleaning, wellness checks, medication prompting, and meal preparation for clients who primarily speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Proficiency in these languages is preferred to ensure effective communication and support.
You will be working in West and Central Auckland, with shifts available during both weekdays and weekends.

You will receive uniforms, personal protective equipment, and a mobile phone equipped with live roster and communication tools. Our customer service team is available daily from 7 am to 7 pm to offer support with any needs or inquiries you may have. Additionally, we encourage professional development and offer ongoing training opportunities.
What We Need from You
We are looking for individuals with a caring and empathetic nature, who demonstrate reliability, honesty, and high integrity. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will need to build rapport with clients. Excellent time management and organizational skills are also important, along with a commitment to valuing diversity and inclusion.
Availability to work on weekends is preferable, and you must possess at least a Restricted Driver's License and have your own vehicle for transportation.
Shifts Available
- Monday to Friday: 7 am to 7 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 7 am to 7 pm
