About the Role
We have two key positions available: one Class 4 Driver Operator and one CCTV Operator. These roles are hands-on and involve diverse responsibilities where no two days are the same. You will be using specialized vehicles and equipment to help ensure that essential services run smoothly.
As a Class 4 Driver Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating specialized vehicles for hydro excavation, pipe jetting, and cesspit cleaning.
- Performing manual labor on-site.
- Working locally as well as out of town.
- Participating in night shifts as required.
Requirements for the Class 4 Driver Operator role include:
- Confidence in operating Class 4 trucks and Road Ranger gearboxes.
- Experience in hydro excavation, drainage, or related industries is preferred.
As a CCTV Operator / Drainage Technician, your duties will encompass:
- Conducting underground pipeline inspections.
- Creating detailed reports using WinCan software.
- Leading small site teams and communicating directly with clients.
- Adhering to NZPIM 4th edition standards.
- Supporting trenchless technology work, including CIPP repairs (experience in this area is a bonus).
Requirements for the CCTV Operator role include:
- Proficiency in using CCTV pipeline inspection equipment and drainage software (WinCan).
- Familiarity with IPEK and/or IBAK inspection systems.
- Willingness to work out of town and during night shifts when necessary.
- Leadership experience on-site is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of NZPIM 4th edition standards.
