About the Role
We are currently seeking a machine operator for an evening shift that offers an excellent work-life balance along with a range of benefits, including shift, meal, and overtime allowances. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, as this position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.
Shift Details:
- Shift Time: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays)
- Location: Hornby
- Pay Rate: $25.92 per hour (inclusive of 8% holiday pay), plus overtime, double time, and additional allowances
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with printing or press operation is highly advantageous
- Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks and get your hands dirty
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- A team player who is ready to assist wherever needed
- Must be able to pass a drug test and police check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Availability for potential long-term employment
