Wellington Water is dedicated to providing essential water services to the Wellington region. As a fully Council-owned entity, we are funded by Wellington City, Hutt City, Porirua City, Upper Hutt City Councils, Greater Wellington Regional Council, and South Wairarapa District Council. About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated team member to join our crew based at our Porirua depot. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, traveling to various locations throughout the region to restore roads, footpaths, berms, and other areas to their original condition after maintenance work. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as asphalting, concreting, and general construction and laboring. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a great team while exploring different spots across our city.

About You
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in asphalting, concreting, and general building or construction.
- Competence in operating plant and machinery.
- A full, clean driver’s license (minimum class 1), with WTR endorsements or class 2 preferred.
- Familiarity with technology, such as iPads or tablets, for recording information.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A reliable and hard-working attitude.
