About the Role We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Mosgiel and Dunedin. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others, whether you have previous experience or are just starting your career in care. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily living activities and promoting their independence. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care such as showering, dressing, and toileting, as well as assisting with medication management, meal preparation, and household tasks. Additionally, you will support mobility and daily routines, offer companionship, and help with community outings. Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and qualities: - Previous care experience is advantageous but not required, as we provide comprehensive training. - Confidence in working independently within home-based settings. - Excellent communication and time management skills. - An empathetic, honest, and reliable demeanor. - A minimum of a Restricted New Zealand Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle. - Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
