About the Role We are currently seeking a physically fit and motivated Storeroom Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our storeroom and contributing to our overall success. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, receiving and processing inwards goods, and maintaining a tidy and organized storeroom. Effective communication with the Dry Goods Manager and the team will be essential to ensure that stock is readily accessible. Shift Pattern We aim to have the successful candidate start as soon as possible, but we are open to discussing availability during the interview process. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A valid forklift and reach truck license - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Experience in inwards goods operations - Excellent communication skills - Physical fitness, as the role is hands-on - Proficiency in computer systems and SAP - Knowledge of health and food safety regulations - Flexibility to work various shifts between 5:00 AM and 3:00 PM To evaluate your skills and suitability for the position, we will conduct a trial shift. This will allow you to demonstrate your capabilities while working closely with a trainer who will also assess your performance. For candidates with prior storeroom experience, only a reference from a previous employer will be required.
