Our commitment to quality and excellence has allowed us to secure multiple contracts for the next five years, and we are looking to expand our team with experienced Waterproofing and Tanking Applicators. About the Role We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our growing team. As a Waterproofing and Tanking Applicator, you will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety. Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of one year of work experience in waterproofing or a related field, or possess a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4. - Knowledge of waterproofing membrane detailing and installation. - Familiarity with steel reinforcing spacing and installation/layout. - Experience in conducting work site inspections to assess project progress, equipment condition, and safety compliance. - Proficiency in the set out and placement of hydrophilic water bars and PVC water bars. - Experience with bitumen, PVC, TPO, and/or butyl rubber sheet waterproof membranes, including self-adhesive or torch-on applications. - Knowledge of the set out and placement of Fuko re-injectable hoses. - Ability to read specifications, blueprints, and site drawings to determine construction requirements and plan procedures, including setting out foundations, pile caps, and set downs. - Competence in wall and slab interface set out. - Eligibility to work in New Zealand. - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. - Capability to work efficiently without supervision. - Having your own basic tool kit is preferable. Pay Conditions The hourly pay for this position ranges from a minimum of $26.00 to a maximum of $32.00, based on experience and qualifications.
