About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead branch activities across our territory. In this role, you will ensure that business practices align with our company policies and procedures while focusing on customer service excellence and market maximization. Your efforts will contribute directly to achieving revenue, profit, and cash flow targets.
Using a strategic approach, you will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and maintain an in-depth understanding of current projects and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve branch financial budgets and targets.
- Recruit, manage, and lead the branch team, setting a standard for professional behavior and leading by example.
- Fully utilize CRM processes to track opportunities and manage customer contacts within the branch and its catchment area, collaborating closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Internal Sales Team.
- Facilitate and implement the branch's self-auditing responsibilities, ensuring that company standards are met to a high level.
- Participate in the sales process from order to supply, including order management, by effectively utilizing our systems and processes.
Key Attributes
- Proven experience in leading teams within a customer service environment, driving high performance through coaching, mentoring, and development activities.
- A track record of growing a customer base, developing customer relationships, and increasing revenue.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative tasks and work under tight deadlines calmly and accurately.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems such as M3.
- A natural commitment to quality, process improvement, and health and safety standards.
- Background in plumbing, drainage, or water reticulation will be a significant advantage.
