We are currently seeking a Senior Design Estimator – Electrical to join our team in Waikato. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for preparing competitive estimates for major operations and maintenance projects in the electrical field. You will collaborate closely with management and operations teams to develop compelling proposals and pricing strategies that align with client objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and updating estimating procedures and pricing models - Engaging and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers - Contributing to tender clarifications and participating in client meetings - Working on projects ranging in value from $5K to $10M What’s in it for You? About You We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background supported by hands-on operations experience. The ideal candidate will have: - A minimum of 5 years of electrical estimating experience in New Zealand - Experience in sectors such as Distribution, Industrial, Communications, Power Generation, or Transmission - A proven ability to scope, develop methodologies, and understand project delivery requirements - Familiarity with NZS 3910:2013 - Experience using CATS or similar estimating tools is preferred Ready to power up your career?
