About the Role
We are looking for skilled registered electricians to lead a team on a large-scale solar project. This hands-on position requires a confident individual who can work effectively under pressure and has a solid background in solar equipment. The role offers competitive pay rates ranging from $40 to $52 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly payments. This is an ongoing opportunity that leads into the New Year, allowing you to enjoy steady work without the hassle of traffic in the Waikato area.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborating with other contractors and internal teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults in various settings.
- Providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
About You
To be successful in this position, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in solar projects.
- A valid NZ EWRB Practicing License.
- Knowledge and understanding of the current New Zealand Electrical Regulations.
- A positive attitude towards working in a safe and healthy manner.
- Experience with residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects.
- A full class 1 clean NZ driver's license.
- New Zealand residency or a valid NZ working visa.
