About the Role
We are currently seeking a Loader to join our team at the Hornby Distribution Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely loading of goods onto allocated vehicles while adhering to food safety policies and maintaining high presentation standards.
As part of a larger team, you will ensure that deliveries meet specified timeframes and that all paperwork is accurate at all times. The position involves working one of the following shift patterns:
- Friday to Monday: 3 am to 1 pm
- Tuesday to Saturday: 4 am to 12:30 pm
About You
The ideal candidate will consistently follow all Health and Safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Loading goods onto assigned vehicles within specified timeframes
- Ensuring accurate correspondence between freight and paperwork
- Setting correct temperatures on all loaded units as required
- Safely operating machinery, equipment, and vehicles
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas, including docks, trailers, and staging areas
