As we expand our team to meet growing demand, we invite you to join our Racking Team. About the Role Our Racking Team is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse. In this role, you will engage in physical, hands-on work that involves ensuring stock is placed, stored, and moved safely and efficiently throughout the Distribution Centre. Key Responsibilities - Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as reach trucks and stock pickers to place and retrieve stock - Replenish pick faces and move stock safely throughout racking zones - Maintain accuracy using RF scanners - Support stock integrity, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy - Collaborate with various departments to meet demand - Adhere to all health, safety, and warehouse procedures This is a fixed-term position that will last until mid-January 2025. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a competitive rate of $30.28 per hour. Please note that this role is designed to support our peak period through to January 2026. Due to the high demand during this time, we are unlikely to approve any extended leave, particularly around Christmas and New Year's. Additionally, we do not work on public holidays. Requirements - A current MHE license is essential - Confidence in operating machinery within a warehouse or distribution centre environment - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Physical fitness and capability for repetitive lifting and movement - Clear communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude - Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience is preferred To be considered for this role, you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
