About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented administrator to join the Planned Care Scheduling Team in the Bay of Plenty as a Scheduler/Administrator. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently schedule patients for clinic appointments and surgeries at Tauranga or Whakatane Hospital, adhering to the Ministry of Health's guidelines.
This position is dynamic and demands exceptional administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to solve problems creatively. As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. Flexibility is essential, as you will provide support across the entire surgical scheduling team when needed. This is a permanent part-time position, with a workload of 0.6 FTE, amounting to 48 hours over a fortnight.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial, as well as well-developed interpersonal abilities. We are seeking candidates with at least three years of demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity. Familiarity with patient information systems and strong organizational skills are also essential for success in this position.
