About the Role
We are seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead the menswear and kidswear categories. This high-impact, commercially focused leadership role is ideal for someone currently in a Senior Buyer position looking to advance their career, or an experienced Merchandise Manager eager for a new challenge. In this role, you will have the opportunity to refresh and refocus the menswear category while maintaining momentum in kidswear.
As a vital member of the merchandise leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping strategy, making savvy trading decisions, and influencing the future of these two essential areas of the business.
In this role, you will:
- Own and lead the merchandise strategy for menswear and kidswear
- Drive buying, planning, pricing, and trading decisions
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights
- Collaborate with planning, marketing, retail, and external suppliers
- Guide in-season trading and conduct post-season analysis
- Build promotional plans that enhance margin, sell-through, and visibility
- Foster strong vendor relationships while aligning with brand direction
- Lead and mentor a team of buyers, supporting their growth and performance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in Senior Buying and/or Merchandise Management within menswear (essential)
- Kidswear experience is a bonus
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- A customer-first approach to product and planning
- Confident communication and collaborative leadership abilities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for retail
