About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Acute Assessment Unit. In this permanent, part-time position, you will work 40 hours every fortnight (0.5 FTE). Your role will be crucial in ensuring seamless patient care by overseeing clinical operations and supporting our nursing staff.
You will focus on enhancing patient outcomes, maintaining high standards of care, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Your leadership will be key in managing day-to-day activities within our fast-paced and dynamic unit.

The Acute Assessment Unit at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital is essential to our healthcare system. We provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients who are acutely unwell. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team works together to deliver high-quality care, with a strong emphasis on equity, whānau-centered approaches, and clinical excellence.

About You
We are looking for candidates who currently hold a valid New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate (APC). You should have proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong clinical expertise and decision-making abilities, along with a passion for improving patient outcomes, are essential.
You must be capable of working effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment, approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindset while maintaining composure under pressure.
