Storeperson and Delivery Driver

Additionally, we are committed to environmental responsibility in all aspects of our operations. About the Role We are currently seeking a Storeperson to join our team in Sydenham, Christchurch. This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for weekends off. The successful candidate will primarily work independently, so self-sufficiency and motivation are essential for this role. You will report to the National Warehouse Manager, who is based in Auckland. Key responsibilities include: - Operating a Forklift Truck and Reach Truck - Picking and packing orders - Devanning containers - Organizing stock in the small warehouse - Loading and wrapping pallets - Completing local customer deliveries using the company van - Operating additional machinery on-site for a few hours weekly - Regularly lifting products weighing up to 20 kg - Loading and unloading trucks - Operating machinery such as a guillotine (training will be provided) Requirements To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria: - A valid Forklift license - Ideally, prior experience and a license for operating a Reach Truck - At least one year of experience operating a forklift truck - A Class 2 License is essential - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a small team - Attention to detail and thoroughness - Ability to regularly lift 20 kg - Self-motivated with a proactive attitude - Eagerness to learn and engage with the role - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate along with a supportive work environment.
