About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Salesperson to join our Te Rapa team in a full-time capacity. This position involves a balanced mix of office-based and fieldwork responsibilities, with a split of approximately 30% office work and 70% fieldwork. You will report directly to the owner/operator and will be expected to leverage your established local network.
Your primary objective will be to drive sales revenue by nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients. This role will allow you to utilize your skills in sales and customer relationship management to contribute to our ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and convert sales leads into viable opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
- Generate sales from both existing and new customers.
- Manage a customer base, ensuring proactive engagement with approximately 100 key accounts.
- Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

- Generate and convert leads effectively.
- Exhibit strong perseverance and resilience in a sales environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and exhibit outstanding key account management skills.
- Be a skilled communicator who is organized and highly motivated.
- Work autonomously while remaining a collaborative team member.
- Hold a full driver's license.
While a sales background in the trade or construction industry is preferred, we also welcome candidates with strong sales experience from diverse industries.
