About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist or Advanced Clinician Physiotherapist to join our Adult Community Services team at Te Toka Tumai Auckland. This permanent role is part-time, amounting to 0.8 FTE or 32 hours per week.
In this position, you will provide specialist continence assessments and interventions to adults in the community. You will act as a clinical resource and advisor to nursing and allied health staff, leading education and quality improvement initiatives in continence care. Engaging in service development and research to enhance continence services will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with whanau and community providers to ensure that care is equitable and accessible. Please note that this role requires a current Vulnerable Children's Act (VCA) clearance.

About You
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse or Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and possess a postgraduate qualification in continence care or a related field. You should have at least five years of clinical experience, including work at a senior or advanced practice level. A strong understanding of continence assessment, treatment planning, and education is essential.
We are looking for someone who is confident in working both autonomously and collaboratively across primary and secondary services. A demonstrated commitment to equity, partnership under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and culturally responsive care is vital. A full, clean New Zealand driver's license is also required.
