About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ECE Team Leader to inspire and guide our team of kaiako in the infants' room. In this leadership role, you will play a vital part in igniting curiosity and promoting learning among our children and educators alike. Your vibrant spirit, energy, and genuine passion for early childhood education will help us create the best possible learning experiences for our tamariki.
In this position, you will utilize your strong written and verbal communication skills to lead the team in planning and internal evaluation. You will work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the center, developing and maintaining effective routines and processes. To be successful, you will need to hold an ECE qualification and a current practicing certificate from the Teachers Council.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- An ECE qualification and a current Teachers Council practicing certificate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in leading a team and collaborating with the Centre Manager
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for both children and staff
