About the Role
As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in our projects nationwide. We value motivated and results-driven professionals who are willing to work flexibly across different locations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing electrical layouts to ensure compliance with electrical and fire codes, installing and testing systems, and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
You will work closely with our Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to meet programmed timelines, cost requirements, and quality standards. Monitoring your work's progress and effectively communicating any challenges will be essential. Additionally, you will carry out quality inspections and adhere to our safety policies, while also participating as a valued member of our marine team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Ideally, one year of relevant experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 1, although this is not compulsory.
- A friendly demeanor with strong time management skills and an excellent work ethic.
- A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay, with rates ranging from a minimum of $30.00 to a maximum of $39.00 per hour. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work each week, providing you with job security and stability.
Location
This role may require occasional travel to various regions, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland. This is a permanent and full-time position.
