Health Care Assistant Holmdene, Balclutha Part-time permanent position Join us in making a meaningful difference in the daily lives of older individuals as a Health Care Assistant. About the Role In this position, you will use your practical skills and compassion to assist residents with their daily activities. This includes providing personal care, helping at mealtimes, and performing general care duties that contribute to a happier and healthier living environment at our Enliven home. While the work can be challenging, few roles offer the profound satisfaction of helping those who are grateful for your support and who foster an enriching workplace atmosphere. This is a part-time permanent position, with hours of 4 hours per day from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, following a 4 on, 4 off rotation. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: - Empathy, compassion, and patience - Ability to work well within a team - Enjoyment in engaging with older individuals - Physical fitness and strength - Enthusiasm and a sense of humor While experience in an aged care environment is preferred, holding a Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or an equivalent qualification will be considered an advantage.
