About the Role We are seeking a friendly and organized Evening Ward Clerk to join our team at Middlemore Hospital. This is a part-time, fixed-term position for a duration of 6 months, working from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will serve as a crucial link among medical, nursing, clerical, and clinical teams, while also warmly engaging with patients, their families, visitors, and general practitioners. Your strong customer service and communication skills will be essential in ensuring the ward operates smoothly and efficiently. About You We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following: - NCEA level qualification - Proven experience in customer service - Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of iPMS/WiMS is advantageous but not required) - A keen attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records and ward readiness Working at Health New Zealand At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we are committed to ensuring high-quality healthcare for all New Zealanders.
