About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Women's Health team at Middlemore Hospital. In this part-time role, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service to our staff, patients, and their families. Your key responsibilities will include the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients, as well as maintaining up-to-date electronic records and ensuring the proper handling of confidential data.
This is a permanent part-time position that involves working six shifts followed by eight days off, totaling 52 hours per fortnight.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with extensive administrative experience, ideally within the health sector or a similarly large and complex organization. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment. Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software is essential, and prior knowledge of iPM will be a significant advantage for this position.
Essential skills for this role include:
- Exceptional customer service skills, ideally in a front desk environment
- A minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role
- Strong typing skills
