About the Role
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the directorate of nursing and the executive leadership team at Middlemore Hospital. In this permanent, full-time position, you will be a vital communication link between the division and the wider organization. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality support services that enhance operational efficiency and allow leadership to concentrate on strategic priorities.
As the Executive Assistant, you will expertly manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings and events, and utilize corporate tools and programs to streamline processes. Your ability to provide timely, informed decision-making through proactive briefings and support will be essential. Given the confidential nature of the information you will handle, sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism are critical attributes for success in this role.
About You
To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of five years of experience in executive management support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, is required, along with advanced report and business writing skills. You should have proven experience in managing sensitive information with discretion and at least three years of experience organizing large-scale internal and external events. A background in Human Resources, with a solid understanding of the Employment Act and employment contracts, will also be beneficial.
