About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Stainless and Mild Steel Fabricators to join our team on a full-time basis. Our work environment is hands-on, and we value individuals who are motivated, self-starters, and capable of collaborating effectively with others. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contributing your expertise while enjoying a supportive atmosphere.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Full trade qualification or extensive experience in metal fabrication
- Ability to fabricate complete products to a high standard using various materials, including mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
- Proficiency in multiple welding techniques, including MIG and TIG
- Competence in using general hand tools, drills, and disc grinders
- Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual with a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen to instructions carefully
- Capability to work well under pressure and meet time constraints
- Proficiency in reading and following technical drawings accurately
- Initiative in problem-solving and taking ownership of projects
- Commitment to health and safety practices and maintaining a clean workspace
- A current driver's license and the ability to pass a drug test
- Residency status allowing you to work in New Zealand, with a willingness to travel as required for projects throughout the country
Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Availability for overtime and weekend work is preferred.
