About the Role
We currently have openings in our Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) Casual Administration Team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administrative functions across our Inpatient Units and Community Mental Health Teams, covering various locations including Wellington, Porirua, Hutt Valley, and Kapiti.
The position involves a variety of tasks, and we will provide training and support to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge. As this is a casual role, your hours will vary based on the demand for administrative coverage. This position offers a flexible work schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to work in healthcare while accommodating their lifestyle. The salary range for this position is $66,611 to $75,628 (pro-rated).
About the Team
The MHAIDS Casual Administrators play a vital role in supporting various teams within MHAIDS, which may include both inpatient and community settings. You will work alongside a diverse and dynamic group of clinical and non-clinical staff. Depending on the needs of the service, you may collaborate with other administrators or work independently in your role.
About You
We are looking for motivated and skilled administrators who can multitask and adapt to different locations and teams as needed. The essential skills and experience we seek include:
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to work autonomously while also being a team player
- Proficiency with various computer applications
- A friendly attitude and eagerness to learn
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment is preferred but not mandatory
