Currently, we are seeking experienced scaffolders to join our team for multiple roles throughout the Gisborne region and beyond. About the Role We are looking for reliable and motivated scaffolders who are willing to assist with projects across the country. Flexibility in work locations is preferred, as you may be required to work in various regions. Your primary responsibilities will include the dismantling of temporary metal scaffolding to create work platforms and structures on building and industrial sites. Key duties will encompass: - Determining job requirements by planning and arranging scaffolding - Selecting and preparing necessary materials for each job - Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment at the site - Erecting scaffold structures by lifting, positioning, and bolting together sections of scaffolding - Establishing platforms and implementing safety measures - Inspecting scaffolding for safety, making necessary repairs to ensure stability - Installing guard rails and safety netting - Maintaining a clean workspace, including equipment and tools - Upholding health and safety requirements - Performing additional duties as assigned Pay Conditions The pay rate for this role ranges from a minimum of $29.66 per hour to a maximum of $34.00 per hour, based on experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or an equivalent qualification - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic - Flexibility to work in various locations across New Zealand - A commitment to learning and developing skills within the industry - Adherence to health and safety practices on-site - Reliability and a strong work ethic The role may require you to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
