About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time carpenters to support various project work throughout New Zealand. This position involves working on commercial, residential, and infrastructure construction sites, with locations determined by project needs. This role is particularly well-suited for experienced carpenters who are open to relocating or traveling as required.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Performing formwork, framing, cladding, and finishing work
- Constructing, installing, and repairing structures
- Upholding health and safety standards
- Working on rotating project sites throughout the country
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- A minimum of three years of carpentry experience, either in New Zealand or overseas
- A trade qualification, such as the New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry Level 4, is preferred
- The ability to work independently and adapt to new environments
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Gisborne, we are actively recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We invite applicants from any of these regions, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary. The company will cover relocation costs on a case-by-case basis.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week. These are full-time, permanent roles, and we provide personal protective equipment and tools where required.
