Description
About the Company
Presbyterian Support South Canterbury (PSSC) has been a dedicated community partner for over 100 years, supporting individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. Every year, we empower countless people, families, and communities. Through our Enliven services, we focus on creating elder-centered communities that promote companionship, choice, independence, and meaningful engagement for older individuals.
About the Role
We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our dynamic Community Services Team. With an increase in clients, we are looking for both new and experienced caregivers and support workers who are eager to assist our valued clients in their own homes. If you are already in the caregiving profession and are interested in guaranteed hours that reflect your hard work, we encourage you to reach out to discuss the options available.
We currently have opportunities in Timaru, Temuka, Waimate, Fairlie, and Geraldine. We offer both morning and evening shifts, or a combination of both, as we strive to be flexible to meet your needs. We also welcome interest from individuals who are new to this growing and rewarding field.
If you are seeking a change or a new opportunity, please contact us to learn more about what we offer and how our operations work. We have various hours available, ranging from 15 to 20 hours per week for part-time positions, or 30 to 40 hours per week for those seeking full-time work. We provide paid orientation and ongoing training to support your skill development and qualifications.
Feel free to visit us at 23 North Street to discuss available options, or call us at 03-6871117. Our local team, including registered nurses and office staff, is available to support you seven days a week.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a full driver’s license and be available for alternate weekend work. Applications will close on 4th August 2025. Please note that interviews may be scheduled and positions filled during the advertised period.
