This unique position offers a chance to experience one of the most isolated yet beautiful places in the world. About the Role The deployment period for these roles is expected to be from approximately October 2025 through March 2026. These positions require resilient individuals who are ready to commit to several months of work in a challenging environment. In this role, you will be part of a large commercial construction project, where teamwork and a proactive attitude are essential. Your responsibilities will include delivering parts and materials, assisting the Logistics Supervisor with day-to-day operations of the Stores and Logistics for the construction project, and operating plant machinery such as Bobcats and Telehandlers. A Class 2 Driver License with WTR Endorsements is required for this position. Candidates must be willing to receive vaccinations for Flu, Tdap, and MMR. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position; candidates should be prepared to work long hours, typically six days a week. Start dates are approximate and will depend on passing medical and dental checks, obtaining security clearance, and availability of flights to the ice. Additionally, applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and have a clean criminal record. The application process is detailed and may require patience. Candidates should also be prepared to travel to Tauranga for medical and dental exams; we will cover the costs of testing and flights for those traveling from outside the Bay of Plenty. Benefits We offer a competitive hourly wage of $66.11, paid fortnightly in New Zealand dollars for a total of 54 hours a week. We provide flights from any major New Zealand airport, food, shared accommodation, and travel insurance. All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied. This role presents an excellent opportunity to earn a substantial income, save money while away, gain invaluable experience, and form lifelong friendships in a remarkable setting. What Now?
