Excavator Operator

About the Role We are currently seeking experienced excavator operators for various projects in bulk earthworks, roading construction, and drainage. In bulk earthworks, you will be responsible for loading dump trucks with soil and aggregate, as well as cutting soil and clay using machines ranging from 20 to 30 tons. The pay rate for this role is between $28.00 and $35.00 per hour. In roading construction, your tasks will include digging out existing roads, preparing the sub-base, and performing finishing and trimming work to achieve final levels. You will operate machines between 5 and 12 tons, with a pay rate of $26.00 to $32.00 per hour. For drainage work, you will be involved in trenching around services and shields for pipe installation, slinging pipe into trenches, and performing reinstatement work. This role offers a pay rate of $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.
