About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Christchurch. The successful candidate will operate machinery ranging from 1.5T to 12T diggers and should possess WTR endorsements, with a Class 2 license being ideal. This position involves working on various civil projects, primarily focusing on subdivisions, with occasional basic demolition work and landscape operations.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM. There may be instances when you will be required to work in the wider Canterbury region, which could result in returning to the yard after 6:00 PM on certain days.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a similar capacity
- A minimum of a Class 1 full license
- WTR endorsements
- Proficiency in operating 1.5T to 12T diggers
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- A professional demeanor, understanding the importance of representing the client effectively
Benefits
