About the Role
As an Information System Trainer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and enhancing IT capability development for our staff. Your responsibilities will include coordinating training providers, promoting available courses, and encouraging online learning models. You will provide direct training to staff, both individually and in groups, while also supporting super-users within various services.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a solid understanding of New Zealand's health sector applications and preferably have teaching experience. Key attributes for success in this position include:
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective teaching across a diverse, multi-disciplinary workforce
- A learner-focused approach, with the ability to adapt to various learning styles and competency levels
- High personal motivation to identify and address workforce training needs
- Proven ability to work independently
- Strong planning and prioritization skills
- The right to work in New Zealand
- Current employment with Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand
