About the Role
As a Duty Manager in a Kmart Aotearoa store, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring your team. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, requiring you to think on your feet while adhering to policies and processes. We are looking for someone who is driven, ambitious, and able to adapt to change while demonstrating resilience.
To be successful in this position, you should have experience as a manager in a large-scale or high-volume retail environment. You should also possess a passion for achieving results that motivate and inspire your team. A strong commitment to safety, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to encourage your team to reach higher every day are essential qualities. Building strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, and leaders will be a key part of your success in this role.
Requirements
- Experience as a manager in a large-scale or high-volume retail environment

- Proven experience in coaching and leading large, diverse teams
