We are Extrastaff Limited, a growing business dedicated to delivering exceptional scaffolding services across various construction and public event projects. We believe in the importance of quality workmanship and are looking for skilled Scaffolders to join our team.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events.
You will inspect the areas requiring scaffolding, make the necessary calculations to determine the appropriate scaffolding type, and assemble the equipment by fitting tubing and braces together to create frameworks. Additionally, you will fix ladders, rails, and other attachments to the scaffolding.
Safety is paramount in this role, so you will be responsible for inspecting scaffolding structures and maintaining the equipment. Once the job is completed, you will also take down the scaffolding as required. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate an excellent work ethic.
A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry is essential, along with a solid understanding of health and safety procedures. We value reliability and a strong work ethic in our team members.
Benefits
The pay for this role ranges from a minimum of $26.00 per hour to a maximum of $40.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours of work each week.
You will primarily be working in regions including Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability and opportunities for growth.
