About the Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Orderly to join our team at Timaru Hospital. This position requires a great deal of energy and enthusiasm, as you will be engaging in a variety of tasks that ensure no two days are alike. You will enjoy the flexibility of working across different shifts and locations within our healthcare system.
About the Team/Service/Location
As part of the team at Timaru Hospital, you will be responsible for a range of physical tasks that include moving and delivering medical equipment, blood products, medical specimens, and laundry. In addition, you will have the important role of transporting patients, offering them comfort and support during their healthcare journey with us.
About You
In this position, you may occasionally work independently in various locations, but you will remain connected to our dependable orderly team via radio communication. We are looking for individuals who can use their initiative to enhance the patient experience each day.

Salary Range
This position falls under the terms and conditions of the Etu Food and Services Collective Agreement, and the salary will be aligned with the relevant pay scale.
