About the Role
We are seeking motivated individuals for a Temp to Perm opportunity in our client's manufacturing facility. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 to $28, with weekly pay and a Monday to Friday morning shift schedule. As part of the team, you will operate machinery and systems in plaster mills and board manufacturing, while ensuring a smooth production process.
In this role, you will monitor and maintain process control in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), replenish production lines, perform quality checks, and support daily manufacturing duties.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, particularly with automated equipment.
- A valid forklift license and a full New Zealand driver's license.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with basic numeracy.
- Physical fitness to safely lift up to 25 kilograms.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
- Full working rights in New Zealand.
- Willingness to work a 24/5 rotating roster of 12-hour shifts, including occasional Saturday shifts.
