About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cook at Clutha Views Lifecare & Village, offering a permanent part-time position of 24 hours per week. The role includes morning, evening, and weekend shifts. We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives in a culinary environment and is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. A positive, can-do attitude and the belief that good food contributes to well-being are essential. You will also enjoy collaborating with others.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing hearty and nutritious meals tailored to meet the individual dietary needs of our residents. Reliability and a willingness to assist your colleagues are key attributes we seek.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience in catering and food service, ideally in a commercial kitchen (on-the-job training will be provided).
- A culinary qualification or equivalent experience.
- A passion for creating delicious food and providing an exceptional dining experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- A genuine desire to help people, coupled with excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive demeanor.
- Experience in delivering quality standards in food preparation.
