About the Role We are currently seeking qualified carpenters to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. You will be responsible for installing and repairing structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and cabinetry, while working with various materials, including wood, drywall, and metal. It is essential that all your work complies with safety standards and building codes. Collaboration with other team members will be crucial to complete projects efficiently and on time. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Experience and qualifications in carpentry and woodwork - Ability to provide two references from previous employers - A comprehensive understanding of building standards - Strong leadership skills and a commitment to health and safety practices - A solid range of hand and basic power tools is advantageous If you are overseas qualified and have recently arrived in New Zealand with equivalent qualifications, we encourage you to reach out to us to discuss how we can assist you in entering the field here.
