About the Company Tradestaff Christchurch is currently seeking talented individuals to join our team as Traffic Management and Road Workers. About the Role In this role, you will assist with traffic management for a range of roadwork projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up traffic cones, signs, and barriers, as well as directing traffic safely and efficiently to ensure a smooth flow while protecting the safety of both workers and the public. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to road construction and maintenance efforts. This position may require you to stay on-site for overnight shifts and assist with assignments that involve travel away from your home base. It is essential to follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need the following: - A full, clean Class 1 driver’s license (or an international equivalent). - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, along with ongoing random testing. - A clean criminal record. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight and out-of-town assignments. - Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. - Previous experience in traffic management or roadwork is an advantage but not essential. Benefits We offer a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour, along with generous penalty rates for overnight or out-of-town work.
