About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Yardman/Labourer who possesses an F endorsement and an OSH forklift operator certificate. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling challenges.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for transferring various waste materials from trucks to storage tanks to facilitate continuous production. Your primary duty will involve operating a forklift to unload, transfer, and relocate waste materials effectively. Flexibility is essential, as you may also need to engage in hands-on work when required.
The working hours for this position are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. If you have a passion for working in a processing plant and enjoy a dynamic work environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
About You
We are seeking candidates who are physically fit and prioritize health and safety in their work. A positive attitude and a proactive approach are important qualities we value.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An F endorsement and a valid OSH forklift operator certificate
- Prior experience operating a forklift
- A background in waste and wastewater treatment will be advantageous, though it is not a requirement
- Reliability and punctuality, along with a commitment to the role
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment screening and possess a clear Ministry of Justice record. Additionally, candidates must be New Zealand residents, as we are unable to consider overseas applicants for this role.
