About the Role
We are currently seeking a Team Support/Scheduler to join the Paediatric Cardiology team at Starship Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday to Friday work schedule. In this role, you will provide essential scheduling, clerical, and administrative support to senior clinical and management teams. Additionally, you will coordinate activities within designated services as outlined in our service accountabilities.

About the Team
Our Paediatric Cardiology team is the sole provider of cardiology and cardiac surgical services for infants and children with congenital and acquired heart disease in New Zealand and parts of the Pacific Basin. Starship Child Health is a dedicated paediatric healthcare service and a major teaching center, offering family-centered care to neonates, children, and young people across New Zealand and the South Pacific. We serve a population of approximately 1 million children, making us a vital part of New Zealand's healthcare landscape.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Completion of three years of secondary education or relevant work experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in a team administration or customer service role
- A positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and keen attention to detail
- Well-developed communication and critical thinking abilities, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications
- The capability to prioritize tasks and proactively manage your time and workload
- A strong commitment to quality healthcare
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Experience in a hospital environment, along with familiarity with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
