About the Role
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join Jane Winstone Retirement Village in Whanganui as a Caregiver. We currently have a part-time position available, with work scheduled on Sundays and Mondays from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with our residents and their families. You will be responsible for following individual care plans and providing care that reflects the high standards we would want for our own loved ones. You will utilize the latest technology, including our purpose-built care app, myRyman, and work collaboratively with your colleagues to foster a supportive team environment.
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, we are looking for individuals who embody kindness, empathy, and strong communication skills. A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor is essential. While experience in aged care is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
Please note that, although we welcome applications from overseas candidates, we do require applicants to possess New Zealand work rights for this position due to immigration regulations.
